Monsieur Marcels Very Unlucky day
Marcel's Very Unlucky Day' is a traditional 2D hand-drawn style animation, that pays homage to the golden era of animation. This animation short mimics a visual and audible comedic experience similar to the slapstick cartoons many of us grew up with.
This animation project has been a passion project of mine. This work allowed me to use the techniques I love to create an impactful narrative. Using such techniques as Foley added further depth to the humour and slapstick of this animation. Over-exaggerated expressions emulate the style and techniques of animations and cartoons from the 1950s that people around the world have come to adore. 'Marcel's Very Unlucky Day' is a homage to the Golden Age of Animation and an ode to this art form.' Directed by: Frankie William Robert Baxter Country of Origin: United Kingdom
